What are your education and professional background?
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Econometrics and a Master’s degree in Financial Control. In 2017 I became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
What is your career path?
I have mainly dealt with independent financial audit and audit-related services, as well as internal audits in a financial institution. Until today I’ve been an Assistant Auditor, Project Manager, and currently Audit Manager.
Why did you decide to work in the audit?
As a child, my dream was to play the violin. Over time, curiosity has provoked me to take up a different field and choose this profession.
Did your expectations fulfill in time?
I met excellent professionals and wonderful people at the time, who fully lived up to my expectations.
What is the most valuable thing the profession has taught you?
To value my own time and the time of others.
Do you have a hobby and how do you unload after work?
I like winter sports and I love skiing. Lately, I’ve been spending time on tennis courts. I enjoy reading books and painting with a glass of wine. Music is another way I take stress down.
What is your formula for success?
Our attitude to the world is an integral part of the success we achieve. The key to success, in my opinion, lies in our ability to think clearly, have focus and make an effort.
