Today we introduce to you one of the engines of our company – the Chief Accountant of MGI Delta, Polina Kamenova. Polly keeps all the bills under control, and her work is always strict in order. What is your education and professional background?

My educational development passes in the field of accounting. My secondary education is in Accounting, then a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting and Control.

What is your career path?

My career path began in 2005, when I first started working as an Accountant. During this long period so far I have gained a lot of knowledge, experience and professional development. I am part of the MGI Delta team since its founding.

Why did you decide to work in Accounting?

I focused on accounting during my school years. I have always enjoyed to put numbers and documents in order, aligning and arranging them precisely. This made me ask for and practically apply what I learned. I had an amazing mentor in my first job and that made me love Accounting even more. And so far, I do not stop rediscovering the accounting profession, which turned out to be dynamic, responsible, demanding organization and dedication.

Did your expectations fulfill in time?

In fact, to be honest, I would answer that I did not set expectations. Over time, I learned that things happen the way they should. But I definitely think that yes, this is my profession and I am happy for my personal and professional development, precisely in this area.

What is the most valuable thing the profession has taught you?

The most valuable thing that the profession has taught me and continues to teach me is that I have to follow my aims and be strictly organized.

Do you have a hobby, and how do you recharge after work?

Decorating is my passion. I love to redecorate various furniture and belongings and breathe new life into them. I relax watching cartoons with my children.

What is your formula for success?

To be successful, you need perseverance and clearly defined goals. Success for me is when we see our customers satisfied. And that requires a lot of work, dedication and self-development.
